DHANIA CHUTNEY

Fresh, herbaceous, spicy and nutty. The perfect addition to almost any meal. Great as an addition to chaat or as a dipping sauce for samoosas and parathas.

 

Ingredients


1 1/2 Tbs Peanut Butter

40g fresh coriander leaves

20g fresh mint, leaves

1/2 Onion, roughly chopped

2 Garlic Cloves, roughly chopped

1/2 Lemon, juice only

1 tsp Sugar

1⁄2 tsp Salt

1 Green Chilli, roughly chopped

Water, as much to create a pourable consistency

Method

  1. Add the peanut butter, coriander leaves, mint leaves, onion, garlic, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and green chilli in a blender.

  2. Add in 3 Tbs of water and blitz the mixture.

  3. Check the consistency and, if necessary, add an additional 2 -4 Tbs of water.

  4. Blitz again, creating a smooth, thick, but pourable chutney.

  5. Store in the fridge for a maximum of 4 days.
